Review – Bellapierre Mineral Lipstick

The first review from the July Glossybox is here, sorry it took me a while but I wanted to thoroughly test these products before giving you my opinion.

I was thrilled to have this lipstick, not only is the brand very well known but it was red (this sealed the deal for me). I’ve worn this numerous times over the last few weeks in all kinds of weather this is what I think.

” Want to dress up your lips? Bellapierre luxurious Mineral lipstick has been formulated with natural waxes and mineral pigments, iron oxides and antioxidants such as Vitamin C and Vitamin E. Our smooth silky lipsticks deliver moisturizing colour that stays. The mineral pigments provide natural protection from the sun, BellaPierre lipsticks are free of lanolin, bismuth oxychloride and Parabens. These mineral lipsticks are non-synthetic and have a long lasting colour.”

The colour is beautiful, buildable and appiles evenly without much effort. The downside I found is it didn’t last the day and had to be re-applied a little too often. Staying power is a must when it comes to lipstick and it just didn’t cut it when your out for the day the last thing you want is to keep topping up your makeup. It won’t be my go to lipstick but I will wear it again, I did find that the formula didn’t dry my lips out like some other products I’d even say they felt softer after the lipatick was removed.

Overall a good product but not the one for me.
