Unboxing Marvel Avengers Age Of Ultron Mystery Merchandise Box by Bay-57

The husband and I were eyeing up this company for a couple of weeks but since we’re not Game Of Thrones fans and we didn’t quite fancy the Star Wars box we hadn’t got round to placing an order. Then after we saw Marvel Avengers Age of Ultron we were having another look and found they’d brought out a Marvel Avengers Age of Ultron Mystery Merchandise Box. Not as cheap as other subscription boxes at £34.99 plus delivery but the box is said to be worth over £60.

And here it is in (not quite) all its glory. Keep reading…

+ Iron Man Fabrications
+ Thor from a set of Funky Wacky Wobblers
+ Micro Comic Fun Pack
+ The Mighty Thor T-Shirt

By our estimates we worked out the value of this box at less than £50 and not more than £60 as advertised and so contacted Bay-57 for clarification and see if a mistake was made. With no response to email my husband contacted them via Instagram and then through their advice through Facebook messenger.

My husband and daughter unboxing:

We got told that our box did look a few items light and they agreed to send out some extras to make it what it should have been. We were told that it must have been a picking error and the items should be with us in a few days.

Unfortunately the items that turned up where another mini comic and a pair of Captain American shot glasses that appeared to be old stock.

We were more than dissapointed and once again my husband contacted them only this time it took them 1 week to respond.
I can only really sum up what a dissapointment ordering from this company has been from beginning to end, I’ve learnt that they are fairly new in the box market but for such a saturated market they needed to be on their game as they’ve obviously had stock issues and their customer service could do with a lot of improvement. We were offered more items but then told as we’d already had more items then they couldn’t send more out. We still question the items value total as it did not amount to over £60, they said it did but I think they exaggerated the cost of each item so it would add up to over £60 to cover themselves. We could return the box at our own cost and have a refund but in the end it wasn’t worth dealing with them anymore so we decided enough was enough.

The contents weren’t 100% bad, I love the Fabrikation and the t-shirt but the box to me didn’t fulfill what they were advertising. It was a let down, not worth the cost, their claims of been over £60 and then their appalling customer service just undid any liking I had of the box at the beginning.

I wish I’d fully looked at this company and the problems other customers had before we ordered with them, I can’t see us ordering from them in the future. All I can say is if your going to order then order with caution, you may be lucky and have no problems or you may end up feeling like us which is dissapointed and out of pocket.
