Our collection of pops have changed so much I think its time for an update, with new buys, delivery’s from pop in a box its hard to keep track of all of them, some have gone while our favourite collections have only expanded.
There are some sets I favour overall and personally for me my Supernatural pop vinyls are my favourite with my Once Upon A Time coming in a close second.
There’s nothing quite like getting a long searched for pop either out in the wild or buying from a fellow collector. Most our new arrivals are mystery pops but there are a few that I ordered from the Pop in a box shop which have arrived lately.
If your anything like me then waiting for certain pops to possibly be put in your monthly subscription isn’t an option so I like to pre-order the ones I want the most from the pop in a box store. There are plently places to pre-order pops from but pop in a box is my go to as you know where you are in the queue to recieve one, its usually cheaper and payment isn’t taken until they have stock.
I put in two pre-orders last year (December) for Once Upon a time Captain Hook and Regina these were a small part of ever growing pre-orders list but I knew I wanted them. When payment was taken it wasn’t long until they arrived as I had good queue numbers, I recieved Hook early January and Regina a couple of weeks later. They arrived in great condition, bubble wrapped and in a sturdy box. I was really pleased as I hate when pops arrive damaged.
As you can see perfect packaging, I then ordered Supernatural Bobby Singer because no collection would be complete without him, it arrived just in time for Mothers day again perfectly packed and no damage.
Just make sure to mark off the pops once you’ve recieved them otherwise you may end up with a second one in your pop in a box subscription. Any questions feel free to leave me a message and I’ll get back to you.
I’m a little late writing this up considering we had it the same time as our Marvel Collector Corps Ant-man box but if you have kids then you know weekends are super hectic, sometimes as busy as the week.
Anyway getting back to the Infinity Crate June box which the theme of the month was Gather. Now as soon as I heard this I was thinking Pokemon etc as you gather and collect objects. I can’t say I was super happy about the theme because I didn’t think there would be anything in it I would like but it was already paid for.
As usual hubby and son unboxing in which he insists on one of the items 🙂
And below is a list of the contents:
Funko Pop Avengers Age of Ultron : Ultron
4 Pin Badges
Hulk vs Thanos t-shirt
Yoshi mini soft toy
Not super impressed which is a pity as I enjoyed last month’s theme and was hoping to carry on for next months theme which is Time & Space. It’s a shame that it can’t be more personalised as we may have got a Borderlands Claptrap Pop which we haven’t got yet. White t-shirts also drive me crazy most prefer black but even grey would be better than white. Loved the Minecraft badge and the one I think is supernatural but still figuring out what to do with them. I don’t think we’ll bother next month but we’ll see.
Our very first Infinity Crate has arrived and it has not dissapointed us. For those that have not had Infinity Crate before, it is a subscrption box which makes your boxes with your interests in mind but also has a monthly theme. As you can see from the title this months theme is “Loss”. The subscrption can cost from £14.99 upwards depending on t-shirt size and how many months you pay for upfront. The face that you are guarnteed a Pop Vinyl and t-shirt seals the deal for me.
Our May Infinity Crate arrived looking a little banged up this morning so we had our fingers crossed all inside would be okay.
Thankfully all was okay and I really loved the box so much so that I think we will stay suscribed for another month. But anyway back to the contents of this months box, you can either take a look at the video below which is my husband and my very bouncy 4 year old (its her Birthday) unboxing the box or skip to below it where I’ll list the contents for you. Also handy if you miss a bit in the video.
There can be a variety of different so not everyone gets the same thing, this is what we recieved:
Supernatural T-shirt (love it!) – Also available Halo,Walking Dead,Batman & Joker.
Causes of Death Poster
Daryl (Walking Dead) Pin Badge – Also available Final Fantasy,Hershal,Supernatural.
Selection of Temporary Tattoos
Batman Pop -Some have had Firefly (jealous!)
Walking Dead Vinyl
It was a great first box with a great selection of items that I’m really happy with especially at such a great price. Looking forward to next months box now I hope it doesn’t dissapoint.
My husband has been teasing me for the last week that he has ordered me a suprise and today it finally arrived. I was so excited as I had no clue what it was going to be in any shape or form.
It was quite a big box so that immediately threw me as I thought he’d just ordered me a Pop Vinyl so at this point I was even more intrigued.
I opened the box took out the brown paper wrapping and sat on top of bubble wrap was Nerds and a tootsie roll lollipop. The Nerds took me back to childhood as I loved buying these from the shop but anyway under the wrapping was an amazing amount of goodies really well wrapped.
To start off I unwrapped a Pop and it was Cowley from Supernatural now this starts off my Supernatutal collection and I love it. Everything that followed was equally as awesome just take a look at the video.
Pop Vinyl Supernatural : Cowley
Harley Quinn Pillowcase set
Harley Quinn Tote Bag
Supernatural Castiel Mug
Harley Quinn Note Book
Harley Quinn Magnetic Interchangeable Vinyl
I’m blown away with the contents of this Shabby Geek Express box and love the way the contents have been put together with the themes asked for.
After been dissapointed by other companies this is a breath of fresh air and I wouldn’t mind getting another box. Best husband ever for this present.
